Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 26, 2026
FadeMyInk (“we,” “us”) provides a tattoo-removal progress-tracking and estimation app and clinic platform. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. FadeMyInk is a tracking and estimation tool, not medical advice.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address (for sign-in).
- Content you add: tattoo details, treatment/session notes, and the photos you capture to track fade progress.
- Derived metrics: lighting-normalized ink-density and fade percentages computed from your photos.
How we use it
- To provide the app’s core function: tracking fade, predicting sessions, and keeping your tamper-evident session ledger.
- To sync your data to your private account across your devices.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
Photos
Your photos are stored in your private, access-controlled account and are visible only to you (and, for clinic accounts, the clinic operating your record). Fade metrics can be computed on-device.
Data security & integrity
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level access controls. Session records are linked with SHA-256 hash chaining so the history is tamper-evident.
Your choices
You can delete your tattoos, sessions, and photos in the app, or request full account deletion by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our active systems.
Medical disclaimer
FadeMyInk provides estimates for informational and tracking purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow the guidance of your licensed provider.
